Apartment Review
Expensive College Living -- Not worth price
Review Date: 9/19/2009 Reviewer: Anonymous
These were deemed luxury apartments. Since we've been living here, it has been nothing but college kids partying. They're up till 3am, and then when I open my windows, I get to see their lovely beer bottles that were thrown in the bushes by my apartment. It has pretty much been a maintenance nightmare since moving in. I found mold growing on the ceiling in my bathroom; when I asked them to fix it, they just painted over it. A week later, there is more mold. My kitchen has a total of 5 cupboards in it, so we have to store food on top of the cupboards and on top of the refridgerator. The appliances are cheap at best; I have to dry every single load of laundry twice. When I asked them to fix the dryer so I only needed to dry my clothes once, they said the dryer was working fine. There are also numerous cracks in the ceilings and walls, which looks to me like the foundation is slipping. I had to put a ridiculous deposit down since I have a cat, and after reading their list of what they will collect after moving, I don't think I'll get any of my deposit back. |
