Apartment Review for The Preserve At The Meadows - Fort Collins, CO

Apartment was ok. We lived there for 6-7 years. When it came to leave they took the entire deposit claiming that the apartment was filthy. We left it spotless for an apartment that has had zero maintenance done to it. They are trying to compare the normal wear and tear to an apartment that gets turned over every year or two. When someone leaves an apartment after a year or so and you have it professional cleaned, repainted, whatever sure it will look 10x better than an apartment that you haven't touched in 7 years. We never had them once clean the carpets (did that ourself), they never repainted, fixed or replaced our broken blinds...etc because we never asked them to. They technically saved money by not turning it over every year. Now they want to take the deposit for extended wear and tear beyond what they normally see? Thats crap. We had 6 people cleaning the apartment and one was my own mother who is anal about cleaning. Things she was cleaning they said were dirty, and greasy...I call B.S.! They will do anything to take your money once you leave. Watch out.
