Apartment Review for Kensington Place - Fort Collins, CO

I should have known that this place was a dump the first month I lived there when I found water pouring from the attic entrance after a heavy storm (we fill half of a 15 gallon tub). About 3 months later, I noticed dirty rust water running down the pipe in the bathroom. I mention it to the landlord but nothing came of it...until so much water collected under the plaster of the ceiling that a substantial part of the roof came down. I was homeless for two weeks (and no, the landlord did not offer to put me in a hotel) and I had to threaten to sue to get my rent pro-rated. In addition, when I mentioned all the damage to my belongings, I was told I should have had renters insurance!!! DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!!
