Apartment Review for Brookview Apartments - Fort Collins, CO

Trust me, the price of the apartments reflects the quality of living. My roommate and I moved in Aug 09 through July 10. My biggest complaint that the apartments were constantly hot, no matter where your thermostadt was. This was litterally the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The first experience was our horrible neighbors. The upstairs neighbors would leave their trashbag on their patio where the "trash juice" would drip onto our front door area. Not to mention the dirty diapers that they would throw out the windows into the bushes that Brookview wouldn't pick up because it was winter out. Because we complained so much about the neighbors Brookview would post letters on their doors about the complaints, but never followed through with them. This issue escalated to the point to where our trashy neighbors were yelling and screaming at us on Christmas night threatening violence. Needless to say even calling the cops and filing a complaint didnt get them kicked out. They tell you when you move in they have strict rules and regulations but then never follow through with them because they're too lazy. Right after this incident in January we got mice, and an externimator was called out to our unit 3 times. In the spring we got flying ants/termites and the exterminator was called out to our apartment almost 6 times and the issue had not been resolved when we moved out. My final complaint was they lied to us about our deposit. We moved out and paid extra money to get out of those apartments 2 weeks early which was communicated that we would get our deposit early then too. After soeaking with the manager today, she informed us that they have up to 60 days to refund us. Thanks for taking your time like everything else about your apartments.
