Apartment Review for Courtney Park Apartments - Fort Collins, CO

This apartment complex needs to remove the "luxury" from there sign, because these are not "luxury apartment homes" by any means! Because they have hardwood floors this makes it luxiurious, LOL?! Outrageously over priced units, extremely poor maintenance, very unprofessional staff, and apartments that fall apart right before your eyes! For starters, these apartments appear to be in great condition at first until you actually sign a lease and spend about a month in one! I had a leaking ceiling issue for months that I brought to the attention of the office in which maintenance just came in and painted over the problem area without actually fixing it?! In turn, this continued to flood my living room floor everytime it rained heavily outside (and I'm on the second floor?! How is this even possible?!) The office staff never sent anyone to come fix it again after I explained that it ruined yet another one of my living room rugs from water pouring from the ceiling! Secondly, I was charged late fees for bills that were never late?! When I confronted the office they had no explanation as to why this occured?! Third, I pay most of my rent 2 weeks in advance and in one instance the office actually did not know if they had one my rent checks at one point, which I handed to them personally in a sealed envelope with my name, apartment #, and which months rent it was for?! I actually had to go back to the bank and have them track the receipt and date down for me after it was already purchased months prior! The landscaping is a 3 1/2 at best, being that it's ruined from all of the restroom areas frequented by neighbors pets! the stairs in the complex are constantly falling apart and when maintenance replaces them they don't even bother cleaning up the mess they leave afterwards, who does this?! Any time maintenance does anything around my builing, it's never cleaned! Also, my apartment constantly vibrates and makes weird noises (I know this sounds odd, but it's true! as if the foundation is old?) Toilet constantly runs although I've tried many times to have this fixed! The utilities are somehow split amongst other tenants so this means when I'm out of town for 2 weeks and come back leaving nothing on in my apartment I still have a $100.00+ utility bill waiting for me?! WHAT?! I've had a house that doesn't require this much in utilities! When I spoke to the office about this, again they had no definitive answer for me!? PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU'RE EVEN "CONSIDERING" MOVING INTO THESE "LUXURY APARTMENT HOMES!" They are not what is advertised! TRUST ME! especially when you pay so much for "luxury" and "location". I cringe just thinking about spending another day there!
